God and His People

What are you encouraged and challenged by from God’s written Word?
Which words stay with you as your day starts?

And then take time to Pray in response to this God, our God
Pray for the Church, God’s People in this world

Pray the Prayer for the Month as your own Midday Prayer

These are Psalms of encouragement to read during the holiday month.
Why not read one a week.

Psalm 33; Psalm 37vs 1-17; Psalm 85; Psalm 96

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from PSALM 78
Reflect on the truths behind the words…. and then Pray in response to what you have read

Examine me, O God, and know my mind;
test me, and discover my thoughts.
Find out if there is any evil in me
and guide me in the everlasting way

Naming others in a place of suffering at this time

Father God, hear our prayers and bless this work in our nation we ask

Reading : read this passage again from PSALM 77 – in another version?
Reflect on the words and images here and pray in response to this God

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For all you have done for us
We believe
Help our unbelief
As we name others in a place of distress

Reflect on the words…. and then Pray….to the LORD our God
