As your Monday closes you are invited to pause and pray with others in our Church Family as we step into this week

You may want to revisit the Daily Devotions for today from LEVITICUS 7 verses 11 and 12

You are encouraged to follow the pattern of P-R-A-Y which we have found to be a blessing from Lectio365/24-7 Prayer

P ause in God’s presence – acknowledge He is with you where you are

R ejoice in the blessings of this day He has given

for His help – for yourself and for a situation/person known to you at this time

Y ield to His Kingdom will for tomorrow – say yes!

Pause to Pray for Others

On this first Monday in October…as the nation and the world still wrestles with new cases and vaccine supplies…and other points of crisis and concern… you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world – and for parts of the world in turmoil at this time

For family and friends and neighbours

For the supply of vaccines across the world

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and world leaders at this time of decision making

Daily Devotions for Monday 4th October, 2021

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the LORD God, the Eternal One

Reading : LEVITICUS 7 verses 11 and 12

Meditation : take time to consider these words as we pause with God.
What is God saying to you today from His written Word?

Then take time to Pray in response to our God
Bring to Him your morning sacrifice of thanksgiving

LORD God,
Thank you that we can trust You
Thank you that you are faithful
Thank you that you are with us
Even today
In Jesus’ name, Amen.


Midday

We give thanks for those who look after the gardens across the city
O LORD, hear our prayers at this time of day and bless them we ask.

Evening

Reading : read the two verses again from LEVITICUS 7
Reflect on their meaning for you and pray in response…to this God

O Living and True God, our heavenly Father, hear our evening prayers
As we pause to give thanks You for who You are
And for the blessings of this day
And forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sinned against us even today.
O pour out a blessing on those we name before You
