Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : PSALM 27 verses 4 and 5

Meditation : take the time to consider these 2 verses this morning.
Dwelling in the house of the LORD.
What do these words mean for you in your daily living?
What is your response to God’s Word today?

Pray in response – to our God , the God of these truths

(Pray your own words at the start of this day
Of praise and worship
Of confession and trust
Of need)

O LORD our God,
God of amazing grace
Hear our prayers this day
As we pause in your presence
As we step into this new day
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessings on those who work near the Kirk
O LORD, have mercy on all we call out and pour rich blessings!

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from PSALM 27 prayerfully at the end of your day
Reflect….. and then pray to our God in response

Father God, hear my prayer this evening.
As I pause in your presence
And receive your peace this evening
As I humbly name others before you.
As I lay myself and this world before you
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Reading : PSALM 15

Meditation : take time to consider these words this morning.
A psalm of David.
Which words or images stay with you?
What is God saying to you today?

Then take time to Pray in response to this God

O LORD God,
Have mercy on us and our world we ask.
Cleanse us from the inside out
And make us more like Jesus we ask.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on your medical centre at this time
O LORD, hear our prayers at this time of day and give blessings we ask.

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from PSALM 15
Reflect on their meaning for you and pray in response…to this holy God of ours

O Living and True God, our heavenly Father, hear our evening prayers
And forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sinned against us even today.
O pour out a blessing on those we name before you
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
