Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit
Reading : MATTHEW 7 verses 7-12
Meditation : take the time to consider these words from Jesus this morning.
What is He teaching/reminding you today?
And then take time to Pray in response to this One we believe and trust in
Asking…
Seeking…
Knocking…
Receiving!
Amen we pray together this new day.
Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen
Evening
Reading : read the verses again from MATTHEW 7
Reflect on the words spoken here…. and then Pray in response to this Jesus
Asking…
Seeking…
Knocking…
Receiving!
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
An Evening Prayer with Others
Pause to Pray for Others
On this Friday in November…as the nation and the world still wrestles with new cases and vaccine supplies…and other points of crisis and concern… you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.
You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world – and for parts of the world in turmoil at this time
For family and friends and neighbours
For children and young people across the world in these days
For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation
For our country and world leaders at this time
