Daily Devotions for Monday 13th September, 2021

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Holy Spirit

Reading : PSALM 130

Meditation : As we pause with God this morning…
Take time to consider these words from the psalmist.
Honest words.
To the God of constant love.

And then take the time to Pray in response to what you have read
Pausing. Waiting. Receiving.

I wait eagerly for the LORD’s help,
and in his word I trust.
I wait for the Lord
more eagerly than sentries wait for the dawn—
than sentries wait for the dawn.

In Jesus’ name we pray together
Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on members and leaders of our Senior Citizens’ Group
O LORD, hear our prayers and use them real good we ask – even today.

Evening

Reading : read these words again from PSALM 130
Reflect afresh on the words here
And then take the time to Pray in response to what you have read
Pausing. Waiting. Receiving.

I wait eagerly for the LORD’s help,

I wait for the Lord
more eagerly than sentries wait for the dawn—
than sentries wait for the dawn.

In Jesus’ name we pray together this evening
Amen.
