Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : ISAIAH 11 verses 1-9
Meditation : take time and consider this chapter this morning.
The peaceful Kingdom

What is God teaching/reminding you?
What words stay with you?

And then pray in response – as your day starts
Asking….seeking…..

Pray your own words of trust and request to the LORD our God.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on local shopkeepers near your home
Father God…hear our prayers and bless each and all we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from ISAIAH 11 verses 1-9
Reflect on these words at the end of your day
and Pray in response to God – with your words of request and trust

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For all your good gifts to us in Christ Jesus
For our trust and hope is in you
As we ask, seek and knock on heaven’s door
For our nation
For this world.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

What are you encouraged and challenged by from God’s written Word?
Which words stay with you as your day starts?

And then take time to Pray in response to this God
Honestly, humbly.

Naming others in need of God’s peace at this time

Amen we pray together this new day.

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your own midday prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Reading : read the verses again from ISAIAH 11 verses 1-9
Reflect on these words …. and then Pray in response to Father God

Examine me, O God, and know my mind;
test me, and discover my thoughts.
Find out if there is any evil in me
and guide me in the everlasting way
