Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : REVELATION chapter 1

Meditation : take time and consider all that is said here in this chapter.
What images or words stay with you?
What is God saying to you today from His Word?
What is your response to Him?

Pray to this God of ours in response
Taking time to give thanks for Jesus

O Living LORD,
I read these words.
Help me let the Holy Spirit work out these truths
Even today.
May you guide and bless others
In and out my church family
At this time in their lives
Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those who live close to the Kirk
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from Revelation
Reflect on the words and images written here and pray in response to the Living God.
Living LORD God, hear our evening prayers and receive our praise
For sending Jesus from heaven to earth,
As we believe and trust in you
For the large and the small things in our lives
For the world we live in.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Then pause to pray for a dear friend known to you

O LORD, hear our prayers
As we name others before you at this time.
Bless them
Surprise them
Even today.

God of grace…hear our prayers and pour a blessing we ask on each and all

and Pray in response to this God – our God

As we thank you for friends in our lives
As we name others in need at this time
