Tuesday Evening Prayer with Others

As we journey through this week….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from REVELATION chapter 2 verses 18-29 – as we continue to consider BEFORE THE GOOD NEWS – GOD’S PLAN BEGINS through 2024.

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….as we consider His healing touch on our lives….

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Tuesday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Israel, Gaza, Ukraine, Russia, Yemen and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Pray God’s blessing on our World Mission Team partners
God of grace and mercy and rich blessing, hear our prayers we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from REVELATION 2 verses 12-17
Reflect on what you read and then pause to pray to our God in response

The LORD takes pleasure in his people;
he honours the humble with victory.
Let God’s people rejoice in their triumph
and sing joyfully all night long.

And so to you, O God, we bring our evening words of prayer
In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Reflect on these words and then Pray in response at the end of your day

O LORD, our Great Hope,
We bring our evening sacrifice of praise to you
For who you are
As we acknowledge You our Help even this day.
As we name others in need
As we pray for the Church in all corners of our world
To live and speak of Jesus.

A Message to a Church

And then take time to Pray in response to this God
Praying for those struggling to believe in this Jesus
Praying for families and communities divided over this Jesus

O LORD our God
Hear our cries this morning
Amen we pray together this new day.

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your own midday prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Evening

For yourself and for others in your Church Family at this time

Examine me, O God, and know my mind;
test me, and discover my thoughts.
Find out if there is any evil in me
and guide me in the everlasting way

Build Your Church Lord!
Make us strong Lord!
