Reading : REVELATION 1 verses 1-8
Meditation : as you pause with Jesus this morning,
consider all that is said here as your day starts.
Grace and Peace.
Look he is coming!

What is your response to God’s written Word today?
Is there a prayer of worship and hope on your lips?

Then turn to pray to God in response

O LORD our God,
Thank you for all these words
And all they teach me about who you are.
Receive my sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving
And help me keep my eyes upward this day
In Jesus’ name, Amen

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on family, neighbours, friends, colleagues and Fischy Music concerts!
O LORD, give grace and help and hear our prayers we ask this day.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from REVELATION 1 verses 1-8
Reflect on the words you have read and then pray in response – to this God, our God

LORD God, our God,
God who deserves our thanks
Hear the evening prayers of your people
For we are indeed in need of rescue from this world

Words of ADORATION
What do they mean to you?
Which words stay with you as you turn to prayer?

Then pray in response to the LORD as your day starts
Using words from this passage as they become your own

Pray God’s blessing on those recently come to faith in Jesus in SE Edinburgh
Lord, hear our prayers and bless each and all real good we ask.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done in lives changed
