The Lord said to his people,
“Stand at the crossroads and look. Ask for the ancient paths and where the best road is. Walk in it, and you will live in peace.”

As a Church we were part of the global prayer venture – Thy Kingdom Come.
This prayer continues around the world!
Each Sunday at Midday we will re-visit one of the 11 daily themes.
This week it is OFFER – as we offer all that we are and have to God’s Kingdom Will
Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God
Reading : PSALM 40
Meditation : take time to consider these words as we pause with God today.
And then pray in response to this God
The God we believe and trust in
I waited patiently for the LORD’s help;
then he listened to me and heard my cry.
He pulled me out of a dangerous pit,
out of the deadly quicksand.
He set me safely on a rock
and made me secure.
He taught me to sing a new song,
a song of praise to our God.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen
Evening
Reading : read these verses again from PSALM 40
Reflect on the words written here and then Pray in response at the end of your day
As you prepare to step into a new week with God
P-ause and wait with God
R-ejoice in the blessings of today
A-sk for another
Y-ield to God’s purposes for tomorrow
In Jesus’ name
Amen.

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit
Reading : PSALM 27
Meditation : As we pause with God this morning…
We consider these words today.
What is God saying to you from His written Word?
And then Pray in response – looking again at verses 4-8
O LORD
My light and salvation
Hear my morning prayer
And have mercy
As I lay myself
And this day
Before you
In Jesus’ name.
Amen
Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your midday prayer
Be still and know
Be still my restless mind
Be still with God
Be still in this world
Be still in my life
Be still and trust God
In Jesus’ name
Amen
Evening
Reading : read these verses again from PSALM 27 at the end of your day
Reflect on these words as you look back over the day
And then Pray in response as we step into Sunday
Hear me, LORD, when I call to you!
Be merciful and answer me
When you said, “Come worship me,”
I answered, “I will come, LORD.”
O LORD
My light and salvation
Hear my evening prayer
And have mercy
As I lay myself
And all this day has brought
Before you
In Jesus’ name.
Amen.
