Daily Devotions for Thursday 4th March, 2021

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : MATTHEW 11 verses 25-30

Meditation : take time and consider what is said here – as your day starts.
What do these words mean for you?
What is God saying to you today??

And then pray in response as your day starts

Pray your own words to the LORD God
In worship and thanks for what you have read,
In confession and need to be more like Jesus,
And for others known to you at this time in a hard place.

O LORD
Receive our morning praise and hear our prayers.
We ask in Jesus’ name.
Amen.

Midday

Pray God’s blessing on the TEARFUND staff based in Glasgow
O LORD, hear our prayers and pour out a blessing we ask on each and all

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from MATTHEW 11
Reflect on these words again at the end of your day
and Pray in response to this God of ours with confidence

O LORD God, hear our evening prayers
As we thank You for Your help in our lives.
O have mercy we ask
On others who are weary
On our nation
On our world
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
