Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : JAMES 2 verses 1-13

Meditation : take time and consider these words this morning.
Favouritism Forbidden in God’s Kingdom.
What is your response to God’s Word today?

Then pause to pray for others known to you

O LORD, hear our prayers
Teach us and Help us
As we name others before you at this time.
Bless them
Even today.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those in need of God’s comfort at this time
God of grace…hear our prayers and pour a blessing we ask on each and all

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from JAMES 2
Reflect on the words and images – at the end of your day
and Pray in response to this God – our God

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
For those in need
In our community
In our city
In our world
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

What do the words mean for you today?
Is there something you want Jesus to clarify at this time?

And then pray in response – as your day starts
Asking for the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you

Pray your own words to the LORD our God.
Father, Son and Holy Spirit

In Jesus’ name we say together…Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those in need of God’s guidance at this time
Father God…hear our prayers and bless them each and all we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these words again from Jesus in MATTHEW 13
Reflect on what he says at the end of your day
and Pray in response to Him

O Lord, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For those you have given help to
