Daily Devotions for Friday 27th August, 2021

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : PSALM 146

Meditation : take time and consider all that is said here about God.
A Psalm of Praise!
What images or words stay with you?
What is God teaching/reminding you?

And then Pray with words of Praise to this God of ours in response

Happy are those who have the God of Jacob to help them
and who depend on the LORD their God,
the Creator of heaven, earth, and sea,
and all that is in them.
He always keeps his promises;
He judges in favour of the oppressed
and gives food to the hungry

And so we bring our sacrifice of praise to you, our God Most High.
Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the Bible Society in Zimbabwe
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from PSALM 146
Reflect on the words written here and pray in response to the LORD our King.

Praise the LORD!
Praise the LORD, my soul
I will praise him as long as I live;
I will sing to my God all my life.

In Jesus’ name, Amen!
