Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus
Reading : ROMANS 4 verses 24 and 25
Meditation : consider these words this morning about what we believe.
What is God saying to you today as your day starts?
Is there a response God is asking of you?
And then pray in response – to this God of ours
The God who raised Jesus from death.
The God we believe and trust in.
O LORD our God,
Hear our morning prayers
Of thanks
Of trusting
Of asking
In Jesus’ name,
Amen and amen.
Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the government of Afghanistan
LORD, hear our prayers and have mercy we ask.
Evening
Reading : read these set verses again from the end of ROMANS 4
Humbly reflect on what you read and then pray in response –
for yourself and for others seeking God’s help and power at this time
LORD God, Father God, hear our many different prayers
As we thank you for your call on our lives
As we name others in need before you
