Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God
Reading : ROMANS 5 verse 12
Meditation : take time and carefully consider these particular words.
Sin through one man.
All mankind.
What do they mean to you?
Which words stay with you as you turn to prayer?
Then pray in response to the LORD as your day starts
Praying with confession
Praying for others you know
Receiving forgiveness
In Jesus’ name. Amen and Amen.
Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those hungry and thirsty in Afghanistan
Lord, hear our prayers and bless each and all real good we ask.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done
Evening
Reading : read these particular words again from ROMANS 5.12
Reflect on this verse written here – and what God is saying to you now.
Pray in response to this God who is the God we believe and trust in
O LORD, hear our evening prayers as this day closes
As we praise you for who You are
As we return our thanks to You.
As we humbly confess our sins
As we call out to you for others in our world
As we lay all we are and have before You
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Evening Prayer with Others
As we journey through this week – with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ROMANS 4 verses 24 and 25 – as we continue to consider the GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2022
We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes
We REJOICE in the blessings He has given this day – to us and to others
We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our world at this time
We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow
