Meditation : we take time to consider these verses this morning.
The New Creation
What do these words mean for you?
What encourages/challenges you today?
And then Pray in response to what you read – to this God of ours.
Pray for God’s help today for our world and her people
In Jesus’ name

Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your own midday prayer
Dear Lord, help us to remember at this time of
Presents and Puddings,
Cards and Chocolates,
Paper hats and Limericks
With all the Glitz of Christmas celebration
That the King of Glory came Humbly into our world.
In Jesus’ name
Amen
Evening
Reading : read ISAIAH chapter 65 verses 17-25 again
Reflect on this God, your God, our God…. and then Call on Him in your evening Prayer
LORD God, our God, receive our praise
For who You are
For your help and protection even today
And as we give it all back to you
May you continue to reach and save people
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done across our world
Until we reach Your new creation.

As we journey through Advent….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ISAIAH chapter 9 verses 1-7– as we continue to consider the GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2022 – and those we journey with
We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes
We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Friday – to us and to others
We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time
We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Pray with confidence to our God to bless others in His Church in these days
Giving comfort and hope
Amen – we pray together.

Pray God’s blessing on our city and national leaders
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and give wisdom we ask.
Evening
Reading : read this passage again from ISAIAH chapter 9 verses 1-7
Reflect on the words you have just read and pray in response
Lord Jesus, hear our evening prayers as we respond to these words
And bring comfort and hope to those in need this evening we ask.

The Sign of Immanuel.
What does this promise fulfilled mean to you?
Is there a message you have recently received –
A message to give thanks for?
A person to pray for?
A situation/country in need?
Then pray in response to the LORD as your day starts
With thanksgiving for Jesus, God with us
In Jesus’ name. Amen and Amen.

Pray God’s blessing on those who live in your street
Lord, hear our prayers and give blessing we ask.
Evening
Reading : read these particular verses again from ISAIAH chapter 7
Reflect on the words spoken here – and what God is saying to you now.
Pray in response to this God who is the God of sending messages/messengers
O LORD, hear our evening prayers as this day closes
As we praise you for who You are
As we return our thanks to You for help received today
As we humbly confess our sins
As we lay all we are and have before You
As we step into this new month
