Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus, Saviour and Lord

Take time to Pray in response – naming others known to you at this time

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask and seek and knock……and hear
For yourself and for others at this time
Father God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from ROMANS chapter 16
Reflect…. and then Pray as your day closes
Naming others before Father God

Pause to Pray with Others

On this particular Monday….as the nation journeys forward in this season of Lockdown.. you are invited to pause and pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus

For family and friends and neighbours

For all who are struggling with family matters at this time

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and our national leaders at this time of decision making

Reading : ROMANS 8 verses 18-27

Meditation : take the time to consider this passage today.
‘The Spirit comes to help us.’

Pray in response – to our God , the God who helps us

Pray your own words at the start of this day
Of praise and worship
Of confession and trust
Of need – for yourself and others

Pray God’s blessings on OPEN DOORS at work in Libya at this time
O LORD, have mercy on all we call out and pour rich blessings in that land

Evening
Reading : read the set passage again prayerfully at the end of your day
Reflect….. and then pray to God in response
Looking at verses 26 and 27 again as you turn to pray

LORD God, the LORD Almighty, hear my prayer this evening.
As I look forward and upward
As I seek your Spirit to help me
As I step into tomorrow
