Meditation : take time to carefully consider these words of promise from Peter.
How do they encourage or challenge you this morning?
What is your response to Peter’s words at this time in your life?

Take time out with God in Prayer in response – as God leads you
Including praying for others seeking answers to Life’s Big Questions

Oh Father God,
Hear our cry
Protect
Provide
Surprise
Bless those we name before you

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on Chris and Ruth Aitchison and their family
O LORD God, have mercy on each and all and hear our prayers we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these words again from ACTS 2
Reflect ….and then pray….for others as well as yourself

O Lord, hear our prayers at this evening hour
As we lay ourselves and others before You
As we look to you for the answers to our big questions.

Then pray in response to the LORD as your day starts

Lord, hear our prayers and bless her real good we ask.

Meditation : consider what is said here… at the start of your day.
What do these particular words mean for you in your life?
What is God saying to you today from His Word?

And then Pray in response to what you have read
Taking time to wait before God

Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
I have read these words
And now I pray for you to work them out
as a living reality in my life – even today
as I thank you that you are with me
on my journey through life.
In Jesus’ name.

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of the day
…..and respond to His voice….

Evening
Reading : read the two verses again from JOEL 2
Reflect prayerfully on these words…. And then pray as your day closes

LORD God, our great God,
For all of today
I thank You,
Even for those things that have caused me fear and concern.
Help me to rest in Your unfailing love and on Your faithful Word
As I wait for tomorrow.
