Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : HABAKKUK 2 verse 3

Meditation : consider these particular words this morning.
What is God saying to you today as your day starts?
Is there a response God is asking of you?

And then pray in response – to this God of ours
As you wait in His presence
As you expect to see Him at work today

O LORD our God,
In Jesus’ name,
Amen and amen!

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the Liberton Northfield church family
LORD, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this one verse again from HABAKKUK 2
Humbly reflect on what you read and then pray in response – for yourself and
for others in our church family at this time

LORD God, Father God, hear our many different evening prayers.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the LORD God, the Eternal One

Reading : JEREMIAH 29 verse 13

Meditation : take time to consider these words this morning
What do they mean for you?
What is God saying to you today from His Word?

Then take time to Pray in response

LORD God,
Have mercy on us and those we name before you we ask.
Journey with us through this day.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those seeking God’s guidance at this time
O LORD, hear our prayers at this time of day and have mercy we ask.

Evening
Reading : read the verse again from JEREMIAH 29
Reflect on its meaning for you and pray in response…to Father God

O Living and True God, our heavenly Father, hear our evening prayers
And forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sinned against us even today.
Oh pour out a blessing on those we name before you
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reading : PSALM 138

Meditation : take time to consider this psalm this morning.
What is God saying to you today from his Word?
What are you encouraged and challenged by?

Pray in response to what you have read and considered

In Jesus’ name
Today this is my morning prayer
For I believe and trust in Him
Amen.

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Evening
Reading : read PSALM 138 again as your day ends
Reflect on the truths beyond the words and then Pray to this God …our God
Including for others known to you in need at this time

O Father, Son and Holy Spirit, hear our evening prayers
As we praise You for who You are
As we return our thanks to you for the blessings of this day.
As we name others in need before You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
