Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit
Reading : GENESIS 3 verses 1-13

Meditation : take time and consider all that happens here to Adam and Eve.
What words stay with you this morning?
What is God saying to you today and what is your response to Him?

Take time to Pray in response to this God who knows all

O LORD God,
I can but bow before you
And listen for your voice
To me
Today.
Amen and Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those struggling with guilt and failure at this time
O LORD God, have mercy on each and all we ask.

Evening
Reading : read the passage again
Reflect on all mentioned in these words and then Pray in response as your day ends
Father God, hear my evening prayer
As I confess my sins of this day
And receive your forgiveness anew.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

What does it all teach you about relationships – with God? with others?
What is God saying to you today from His Word?

Then take time to Pray in response
And ask Him to help you in a particular relationship at this time

Pray God’s blessing on those seeking a life partner
O LORD God, have mercy on those we name before you and hear our prayers this day.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from Genesis 2
Reflect on the words and images …. and pray to the God who is Creator of all
Hear our evening prayers, O Father God.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Morning

Reading : GENESIS 1 verses 26-31

Meditation : consider all that happens here and all that God says… at the start of your day.
Why was God so pleased? What is God saying to you from His Word today?

And then Pray in response to what you have read
Taking time to wait before God
Asking Him what pleases Him – or not – in your life at this time

In Jesus’ name.
Amen.

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
…..and respond to His voice….
Father God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from Genesis 1
Reflect prayerfully on these words…. And then pray as your day closes
LORD God, our Creator God,
For all of your creation I have seen today
I thank You,
Even for those things that have caused me fear and concern.
Help me to rest in Your unfailing love and on Your faithful Word
As I wait for tomorrow.
