Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God
Reading : JAMES 5 verses 7-20
Meditation : take time to consider these words of teaching from James.
What is God saying to you today from His Word?

O LORD God,
God of patient endurance,
God of a great tomorrow,
God of forgiveness,
God of healing,
God of answered prayer,
Hear our prayers this day
As we thank you for Jesus
Our Saviour, Redeemer and Living Lord,
Through whom all blessings come.
Amen we say together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those who care for others
O LORD, God of mercy, hear our cry and pour out a blessing we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again
Reflect on their meaning for you this evening…. and then Pray in response
O LORD, hear our evening prayers we ask
As we return our thanks to you
For Jesus
For the blessings of this day
For the hope of a great tomorrow
For the answers to prayer to come.
