As I read these words
Help me believe
And trust in You
In good times and in hard times.
In Jesus’ name.
Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the work of Fresh Start in these days
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and pour out blessings we ask

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from 2 PETER 3.1-10
Reflect on these truths and pray in response to the Lord

Lord Jesus, hear our evening prayers
As we return our sacrifice of praise
As we bring ourselves to you at the end of this day.
As we name others before You.
And as we look upward and forward in hope!
Amen.

A Call to Evening Prayer

As part of the Kirk’s rhythm of prayer and devotion we invite people to pause and pray each day.

We offer a Daily Devotions Bible reading each morning and a focus for midday prayer.

At this time in your Friday you are invited to pause and pray as the day closes.

You may wish to revisit MATTHEW 26.17-30 and consider what Jesus said here.
You may need to name others before Father God.
You may want to be still with God as you look back on your day.
