Amen – we pray together.

Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and bless them real good we ask.

And bring a blessing to those in need of a victory this evening we ask.

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the LORD God

Reading : JOSHUA chapter 2

Meditation : take time to carefully consider this dramatic passage.
Spies sent into Jericho! We meet Rahab.
What is your response to God’s Word as you step into today?

Take time out with God in Prayer in response – as God leads you
Including praying for others in hard circumstances

Oh Father God,
Hear our cry
Protect
Provide
Bless those we name before you
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those who work in nursing homes near the Kirk
O LORD God, have mercy on each and all and hear our prayers we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these words again from JOSHUA 2
Reflect on all that happens….and then pray….for others as well as yourself

O Lord, hear our prayers at this evening hour
As we consider again Joshua, Jericho, Rahab.
As we lay ourselves and others before You in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Call to Midday Prayer

I cry out to the Lord;
I plead for the Lord’s mercy.
I pour out my complaints before him
and tell him all my troubles.
When I am overwhelmed,
you alone know the way I should turn.
Wherever I go,
my enemies have set traps for me.
I look for someone to come and help me,
but no one gives me a passing thought!
No one will help me;
no one cares a bit what happens to me.
Then I pray to you, O Lord.
I say, “You are my place of refuge.
You are all I really want in life.

Amen we say together
