Thy Kingdom Come at Midday

As a Church we were part of the global prayer venture – Thy Kingdom Come.

This prayer continues around the world!

Each Sunday at Midday we will re-visit one of the 11 daily themes….and this time we revisit the youth videos.
This week it is JESUS – as we are encouraged to focus on Him and tell others about Him!

Daily Devotions for Sunday 31st October, 2021

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Reading : REVELATION 22 verses 6-21

Meditation : as we pause with God at the close of the month
Take time to consider these verses and rejoice that the best is yet to come!

And then pray with hope and rejoicing in response to this God, our God

O God of eternal hope
We bow before you
We believe in you
We trust in you
We look up to you
We offer you our songs of hope and praise
In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your own midday prayer

We rejoice in your love, O God!

We rejoice in your care, O Father God!

We rejoice in your saving grace, O Lord!

We rejoice in your good gifts, O merciful Lord!

We rejoice!
We give thanks!
We worship you!

With our words and songs of praise!

In Jesus’ name
Amen and Amen
.

Evening
Reading : read these set verses again from REVELATION 22
Reflect on the words and images and then Pray in response to this God

Praise him, kings and all peoples,
princes and all other rulers;
young women and young men,
old people and children too.
Let them all praise the name of the LORD!
His name is greater than all others;
his glory is above earth and heaven

O LORD, hear our evening prayers of praise we ask
As we thank you for the blessings of this Sunday
As we believe and trust in you
As we pilgrimage on towards tomorrow
And our hope of eternal heaven with you!
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
