Thy Kingdom Come

As a church family we have been revisiting the 11 themes from the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture last Pentecost on a Saturday morning as we lead up to the 2020 venture before Pentecost this year…..May 21-31.

This morning we are invited to pause in these uncertain times and be still before God…and pray to Him ‘Thy Kingdom Come’

Take time to focus on His Kingdom Will and Purpose as your Saturday starts

Ask
Seek
Knock

And expect to see His Kingdom Come, His will being done in these days….
In our lives
In the lives of others we name before Him
In our community
In our Church
In our land
In our world

Daily Devotions for Saturday April 4th, 2020

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus.

Reading : JOHN 11 verses 1-16

Meditation : take time to consider these words this Saturday morning.
The death of Laazarus.
What do they mean for you at this time?

Pray in response to the God of John 11
Looking again at verses 4 and 5

O LORD
Hear our morning prayer
For ourselves
For others
For our world
In these days
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
.

Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your midday prayer

Father,
As we reflect on the promises and prophecies in your Word,
we pray that you will give us wisdom and understanding
to see the relevance of these and apply them in our times.
Thank you that all these promises and prophesies are fulfilled in Christ Jesus,
our High Priest, who ever intercedes for us.
Amen.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again
Reflect prayerfully on the words and people involved here ….. and then Pray in response
Especially for others in need of comfort at this time

Spirit of the Living God, hear our evening prayers at the end of this day
And be with those we name before you.
In Jesus’ saving name, Amen.
