A Call to Evening Prayer

As your Saturday draws to a close, you are invited to pause and pray with others as we step into Sunday

You may want to revisit the Daily Devotions for today – words of Jesus from Matthew 25 vs 14-30

You may need to name others before Father God

You may want to be still and receive from God the Holy Spirit

Pause to Pray with Others

Daily Devotions for Saturday 29th May, 2021

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : MATTHEW 25 verses 14-30

Meditation : take the time to consider these words on this Saturday morning.
What is God saying to you about His Kingdom?
What is your response?

And then take time to Pray in response to this God

O God, our God
Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done
Amen we pray together this new day.

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Evening
Reading : read the set verses again from MATTHEW 25
Reflect on the words…. and then Pray in response to what you have read

LORD God, our God, hear our evening prayers.
As we worship you for who you are
As we thank you for your help this day
And name others before you
Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
