One day spent in your Temple
is better than a thousand anywhere else;
I would rather stand at the gate of the house of my God
than live in the homes of the wicked.
Psalm 84 verse 10

As a Church we were part of the global prayer venture – Thy Kingdom Come.
This prayer continues around the world as we pray for 5 people we know to meet with Jesus!
Each Sunday at Midday we will re-visit one of the 11 daily themes.
This week it is CELEBRATE – as we pause to offer our prayers – celebrating the good gifts God has given us recently – even today – celebrating His loving kindnesses to others – in our Church Family and across the world!
Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God
Reading : PSALM 71
Meditation : take time and consider this psalm this Sunday morning.
An old man’s Prayer.
What do the words mean to you at this time?
What is God teaching you about Himself?
And then pray in response – using verses 14-18 as you turn to prayer
Naming others before God for His blessing
O God of grace and hope
We bow before you
We believe in you
We trust in you
We thank you
We lift others before you
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your own midday prayer
O LORD God
God of David
And Asaph and Solomon
Hear us
O LORD God
In our valleys
And on our mountain tops
Hear us
O LORD God
With songs of praise
And cries for help
Hear us
In Jesus’ name
Amen
Evening
Reading : read these verses again from PSALM 71
Reflect on the words and images and then Pray in response to this God
O LORD, hear our evening prayers we ask
As we thank you for the blessings of this Sunday
As we believe and trust in you
As we pilgrimage on towards tomorrow
As we name others before you
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
