Thy Kingdom Come at Midday

As a Church we were part of the global prayer venture – Thy Kingdom Come.

This prayer continues around the world!

Each Sunday at Midday we will re-visit one of the 11 daily themes….and this time we revisit the youth videos.
This week it is THANKS – as we are encouraged to bring our prayers of thanksgiving at this time

Daily Devotions for Sunday 14th November, 2021

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Reading : JEREMIAH 6 verses 16-20

Meditation : As we pause with God this morning
We consider these words about asking for guidance.
What do they mean for you in your life and at this time?

And then pray in response to this God
The God we believe and trust in
Asking…seeking…knocking….

In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your midday prayer

Father God

As we pause with You

We ask

To be more like Jesus

To keep in step with the Holy Spirit

For others

To meet with Jesus

To know the help of the Spirit

Please

In Jesus’ name

Amen

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from JEREMIAH 6
Reflect on the words written here and then Pray in response at the end of your day

P-ause and wait with God
R-ejoice in the blessings of today
A-sk for another to know God’s help
Y-ield to God’s purposes for tomorrow

In Jesus’ name
Amen.

Pause to Pray for Others

On this first Sunday in November…as the nation and the world still wrestles with new cases and vaccine supplies…and other points of crisis and concern… you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world – and for parts of the world in turmoil at this time

For family and friends and neighbours

For the Church in our world at this time – to be salt and light

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and world leaders at this time of decision making during COP26
