Pause to Pray for Others

On this Sunday in November…as the nation and the world still wrestles with new cases and vaccine supplies…and other points of crisis and concern… you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world – and for parts of the world in turmoil at this time

For family and friends and neighbours

For the Church across the world in these days to be salt and light

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and world leaders at this time

Daily Devotions for Sunday 21st November, 2021

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Reading : MATTHEW 11 verses 25-30

Meditation : take time and consider Jesus’ words this Sunday morning.

And then pause with this Jesus
Come to Him…
Talk with Him…
Receive from Him…

“Come to me, all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke and put it on you, and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit; and you will find rest. For the yoke I will give you is easy, and the load I will put on you is light.”

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your midday prayer

Father God

As we pause with You

We ask

To be more like Jesus

To keep in step with the Holy Spirit

For others

To meet with Jesus

To know the help of the Spirit

Please

In Jesus’ name

Amen

Evening
Reading : read these particular set verses again from MATTHEW 11
Reflect on the words spoken here and then Pause to Pray in response to this Jesus
