You are encouraged to follow the pattern of P-R-A-Y which we have found to be a blessing from Lectio365/24-7 Prayer

P ause in God’s presence – acknowledge He is with you where you are

R ejoice in the blessings of this day He has given

A sk for His help – for yourself and for a situation/person known to you at this time

Y ield to His Kingdom will for tomorrow – say yes!

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : 1 SAMUEL chapter 8

Meditation : take time and carefully consider this part of the Bible.
Take note of what the people asked for.

Then pray in response to this God as your day starts
Pray for our nation
Pray for our world

In Jesus’ name. Amen and Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the land and people of Haiti
Lord, hear our prayers we ask
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done

Evening
Reading : read these particular verses again from 1 SAMUEL 8
Reflect on the words spoken here – and what God is saying to you now.
Pray in response to this God for our nation in these days

O LORD, hear our evening prayers as this day closes
As we return our thanks to You.
As we humbly confess our sins
As we ask for your help
As we lay our country before You
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
