On this Wednesday in Lent…as the nation and the world wrestles with the virus and vaccine supplies…and the crisis in Ukraine is a major concern before us in our world … you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to continue to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world – and for all those in need on our Church Prayer List at this time – and for parts of the world in turmoil at this time

For family and friends and neighbours

For peace in Ukraine and Russia and other nearby countries at this time

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and world leaders at this time

Fellowship Offerings.
What words stays with you?
What are you thankful for?
What promise that you made is God reminding you of?

Then pray in response to this God of ours

Reading : read the verses again from LEVITICUS 7 verses 11-38
Reflect on the words and images you read and then pray in response

As we thank you for all you have provided this day
As we thank you for your Church worldwide

What is your response to God’s written Word today?
Is there an offering God is asking of you at this time?

Then turn to pray to God in response

O LORD our God,
Thank you for all these words
And all they teach me.
Receive my sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving
In Jesus’ name, Amen

Pray God’s blessing on the work of our Care Team
O LORD, give blessing and hear our prayers we ask this day.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from LEVITICUS 5 verses 14-19
Reflect on the words you have read and then pray in response – to this God, our God

LORD God, our God,
God who deserves our thanks
Hear the evening prayers of your people
For we are indeed in need of rescue from this world
