Pray to hear and receive from the Lord
Reading : JOHN 14 verses 25 and 26
Meditation : consider the Person of the Holy Spirit and how He is at work in your life and your church at this time…….what is He to you??
and then pray in response to learn from Him more and more
Father God,
Hear my prayer this morning
And thank you for your indwelling Holy Spirit
In all us who believe!
Teach me more of Your wondrous truths
As promised by Jesus
And make these words living and true for me and my church
More and more!
In Jesus’ name I ask, Amen.
Midday
Pray a blessing from God on those struggling with long term illness
Lord, hear my prayer and let Your compassion abound
Evening
Reading : read the verses again
Reflect on these words and pray to be more open to the Spirit
O LORD God, receive my evening prayer and surprise me I ask!
