Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Meditation : take time and consider how the Early Church was persecuted – and who by. What words stay with you?
What group of churches do you know facing persecution today?
then pray in response – including for others known to you in our world

O Sovereign LORD, hear our prayers,
And by Your Holy Spirit sustain and protect those we name before you.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Midday
Pray God’s blessings on those who serve as chaplains in our schools and work places.
O Father God, show mercy and hear our prayers.
Evening
Reading : read these few verses again
Reflect slowly on the words at the end of your day
and Pray in response to our God – for others in our world
