Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Meditation : take time and consider these opening words from Luke.
What images and words stay with you?
What are you encouraged and challenged by?
What is your response to God’s Word today?
Take time to Pray in response to Mary’s God, Elizabeth’s God, Zechariah’s God,
your God.
O God of promise
And new birth,
I read
Help me believe
And trust in You
In good times and in hard times.
May Your Holy Spirit work in and through me.
As You were doing through those I read of here,
As You are doing across the world.
In Jesus’ name.
Amen – we pray together.

Pray God’s blessing on those in the Church of Scotland Head Office in our city
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask
Evening
Reading : read these verses again from Luke 1
Reflect on this God who was at work then and pray in response to Him
For others as well as yourself
