Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus
Reading : JOHN 3 verses 1-21
Meditation : take time to consider these words of conversation between Jesus and Nicodemus.
What is your response to what God is saying here?
Pray to the God who loves and saves and changes lives for ever!
O God of eternal truth
And amazing love!
I read
Help me believe
And trust You
With my past, present and future.
May Your Holy Spirit work in and through me
As You are doing across the world
So that together with heaven and earth
Praise may be offered up to you
Our Saviour God.
Amen – we pray together.

Pray God’s blessing on those asking questions about Jesus at this time
Father God, hear our prayers and draw them unto you we ask
Evening
Reading : read this passage again from John 3
Reflect on this God who was at work in Nicodemus’ life and times and then pray in response
for those you have talked with today and for yourself
Lord Jesus, Servant King, Son of Man, Son of God, hear our evening prayers
As we bring you our sacrifice of praise
As we name others before you.
