Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus
Reading : 2 SAMUEL 16 verses 15-23
Meditation : consider these particular words of advice this morning.
What words stay with you?
What is God saying to you today as your day starts?
Is there someone you could reach out and help today?
And then pray in response – to this God of ours
O LORD our God,
Speak to me by name I ask
Call me closer to your side
Teach me your ways
Before I reach out to help another
Even today
In Jesus’ name,
Amen and amen!
Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the Church in Pakistan
LORD, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask.
Evening
Reading : read these set verses again from 2 SAMUEL 16
Humbly reflect on what you read and then pray in response – for yourself and
for others you have met during this day
LORD God, Father God, hear our many different prayers.
And bless each and all we name before you we ask.
