Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God
Reading : ISAIAH chapter 40 verses 25-31
Meditation : take time and consider this part of Isaiah 40 this morning.
God’s promises to those who trust Him.
What do they mean for you as you step into today?
And then pray in response – as your day starts
including for others in need even today
(Pray your own words to the LORD God.)
O LORD,
God of comfort and hope and strength,
Have mercy we ask and hear our prayers
For others
For family
For neighbours and colleagues
For ourselves
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those who walk through the cemetery grounds
Father God…hear our prayers and bless them each and all we ask.
Evening
Reading : read this passage again from Isaiah 40
Reflect on the verses at the end of your day
and Pray in response to God – our God of comfort and hope
O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For the compassion and strength given to us
Even today
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
