Pause to Pray for Others

On this particular Friday…as the nation and the world still wrestles with the new variant and vaccine supplies…and other points of crisis and concern are before us in our nation and our world … you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to continue to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world – and for parts of the world in turmoil at this time

For family and friends and neighbours

For children and young people in our local community

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and world leaders at this time

Daily Devotions for Friday 28th January, 2022

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : ROMANS 5 verses 12-21

Meditation : take time and consider all that is said here.
Adam and Christ
What images or words stay with you?
What is God teaching/reminding you?

And then Pray to this God of ours in response

Happy are those who have the God of Jacob to help them
and who depend on the LORD their God,
the Creator of heaven, earth, and sea,
and all that is in them.
He always keeps his promises;
He judges in favour of the oppressed
and gives food to the hungry

And so we bring our sacrifice of praise to you, our Creator God Most High.
Amen – we pray together.
