As a Church we recently took part in the global prayer venture of Thy Kingdom Come.
This ran during the 11 days between Ascension and Pentecost.
Each Saturday at 12 noon we are continuing to ask and seek and knock on Heaven’s door…..’Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done’…..and to pray for up to 5 people we know to meet with Jesus and to experience God’s Kingdom reign in their lives.
This week we focus on the theme of PRAY FOR as we pause to pray with others.
We name before God those we have been praying for to meet with Jesus and to experience Kingdom life and blessing.
We name before Father God those we know in need at this time.
We pray for our national leaders…our Church leaders…in these days.
We pray for our world…..have mercy O God we call out!
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit
Reading : PSALM 23 verse 2
Meditation : take time to consider these words this morning.
Green pastures and quiet waters.
What do they mean for you at this time?
And then Pray in response to what you read – to this God of ours.
Take time to enjoy God’s green pastures and quiet waters.
In Jesus’ name
Amen and Amen!
Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your own midday prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen
Evening
Reading : read this verse again from PSALM 23
Reflect on this God, your God, our God…. and then Praise Him in your evening Prayer
LORD God, our God, receive our praise
For who You are!
For all you have done for us!
Thank you for green pastures and quiet waters
Even today
In our community, in our city.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
During this week you are invited to pause and pray at midday with others.

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus
Reading : PSALM 21
Meditation : consider these words this morning about blessings received.
What gifts from God are you rejoicing in at this time?
And then Pray in response – as God leads you
Pray with thanksgiving to our God of good gifts!
Amen – we pray together!
Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the staff of your local petrol garage
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and bless them real good we ask.
Evening
Reading : read PSALM 21 again as your day closes
Reflect on the words you have just read and pray in response
Lord Jesus, hear our evening prayers as we respond to these words
And thank you for the blessings in our lives!
Amen.
You are invited to pause and pray with others in our city – and across the nation – at this time of the day.
