Pause to Pray for Others

On this particular Friday…as the nation and the world wrestles with the new variant and vaccine supplies…and other points of crisis and concern are before us in our nation and our world … you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to continue to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world – and for parts of the world in turmoil at this time

For family and friends and neighbours

For senior citizens in our local community

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and world leaders at this time

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Meditation : as we pause with God we consider these verses this morning.
How to love others.
What are you encouraged and challenged by today?
What words stay with you?

Then take time to Pray in response to this God of ours
Praying for others
Your neighbours
Your family
Your colleagues
Those on your prayer list

In Jesus’ name.
Amen and Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on Your Church in Scotland in 2022
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and pour out blessings we ask

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from ROMANS chapter 14

Reflect on the way God has blessed you in your life
and pray in response to Him
and for others known to you at this time

LORD God, the God of perfect love,
Our God,
Hear our evening prayers
As we return our sacrifice of praise for who you are
And your help even this day
As we bring ourselves to you at the end of this day.
As we name others before You.
Amen.

Evening Prayer with Others

We REJOICE in the blessings He has given this day

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength in 2022 – for ourselves and for others

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow
