Thy Kingdom Come #Praise

As a church family at Liberton Kirk we have been revisiting the 11 themes from the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture earlier in the year. We are pausing to do so together on a Saturday morning.

Today we are invited to pause and pray with praise!

Praise my soul the King of Heaven!

Praise Him! Praise Him!

Praise the name of Jesus!

Thy Kingdom Come #toJesus

As a church family at Liberton Kirk we have been revisiting the 11 themes from the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture earlier in the year. We are pausing to do so on a Saturday morning.

Today we are invited to pray for others known to us to meet with Jesus and to experience the Kingdom of God as a living reality in their lives.

Father God
As we name others before you
Have mercy
Give salvation
According to your amazing grace
In Jesus’ name
Amen.

Thy Kingdom Come #prayfor

As part of the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture earlier this year..we are revisiting the 11 themes each Saturday morning as a church family.

Today we are encouraged to pray for others
In need known to us
In our family
In our street
In our nation
In our world

Thy Kingdom Come
Thy will be done
In Jesus’ name
Amen

Thy Kingdom Come #toJesus

As part of our rhythm of daily and weekly prayer and devotion as a Church, we are revisiting the 11 themes of the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture earlier this year on a Saturday morning.

We are invited today to pause and pray for the Kingdom of God to be evidenced anew in our day.

We are encouraged to pray for up to 5 people – family, friend, neighbour, colleague – to meet with Jesus.

Thy Kingdom Come #help

In our land and across our world during the 10 days leading to Pentecost in 2017 and 2018 believers and followers of Jesus were invited to pause and pray for the Kingdom of God to be experienced and evidenced anew. This was a venture created by God through the Archbishop of Canterbury and others and will be repeated soon afresh in 2019.

As part of our daily devotional rhythm there are 11 posts on our website and social media pages – each Saturday morning at 8am – on the 11 themes brought to us by the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture leaders.

Today we are invited to pause in God’s presence – and bring Him our prayers for His help.strong>

Please take a few minutes to pray your prayers this morning – for others – for yourself.
Ask Father God for His help for something specific.
Name before Him someone in need known to you.
Ask for the Spirit to help each of us to speak up for Jesus – even today!

O LORD our God
We are but jars of clay
Help us
Oh help us!
In Jesus’ name, Amen
