Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask and seek and knock……and hear
Father God…thank you.

God of David and the God of today,
My God, our God,
Hear our evening prayers
As we trust in your teaching us
As we journey from today to tomorrow

Dwelling in the house of the LORD.
What do these words mean for you in your daily living?
What is your response to God’s Word today?

O LORD our God,
God of amazing grace
Hear our prayers this day
As we pause in your presence
As we step into this new day

Pray God’s blessings on those who work near the Kirk
O LORD, have mercy on all we call out and pour rich blessings!

Evening

Meditation : take time and consider these words this Sunday morning.
Restoring and guiding.
What will you ask God for today?

And then pray in response to the LORD our God who restores and guides.

O LORD our God,
Good and gracious One,
We bow before You.
We lay our lives before You.
O fill us with your Spirit afresh
For of ourselves we get it so wrong
Today and every day!
Restore us
Guide us
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your midday prayer

Loving Father,
We face a wide river and we long to reach the other side;
And we must use the stepping stones offered to us.
You say, ’When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
When you pass through rivers, they will not sweep over you’.
Our trust is in you, O Lord.

Take time to enjoy God’s green pastures and quiet waters.

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
