Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : ROMANS chapter 6

Meditation : take time and carefully consider these words and truths.
Dead to Sin. Alive to God. In Christ Jesus.
What do they mean to you?
Which words stay with you as you turn to prayer?

Then pray in response to the LORD as your day starts

In Jesus’ name. Amen and Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on our Kirk session in 2022
Lord, hear our prayers and bless each and all who serve real good we ask.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done

Evening
Reading : read these particular verses again from ROMANS chapter 6
Reflect on the words written here – and what God is saying to you now.
Pray in response to this God who is the God of rich blessings

O LORD, hear our evening prayers as this day closes
As we praise you for who You are
As we return our thanks to You.
As we humbly confess our sins
As we lay all we are and have before You
As we trust you for tomorrow
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Is there a response God is asking of you?

And then pray in response – to this God of ours

O LORD our God,
Hear our morning prayers
In Jesus’ name,
Amen and amen!

Pray God’s blessing on our Ministry Team in 2022
LORD, hear our prayers and give blessing real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these set verses again from ROMANS chapter 5
Humbly reflect on what you read and then pray in response –
for yourself and for others seeking to know God at this time

LORD God, Father God, hear our many different prayers
As we thank you for your call on our lives
O give saving grace we ask to those we name before you
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Meditation : consider these words as we pause with God… at the start of the day.
What is God teaching/reminding you?
What is your response?

And then Pray in response to what you have read
Taking time to thank God for His blessings in your life

Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
I have read these words
And now I pray for you to work them out
as a living reality in my life – even today
as I thank you that you are with me
on my journey through life.
O I believe
Help my unbelief!
In Jesus’ name.
Amen.

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
…..and respond to His voice….
Father God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from ROMANS chapter 4 – in another version?
Reflect prayerfully on these words…. And then pray as your day closes

LORD God, our great God,
Thank you for being there with me
For all of today
I thank You,
Even for those things that have caused me fear and concern.
Help me to rest in Your unfailing love and on Your faithful Word
As I wait for tomorrow.
As I look around at this world
In these days.
Have mercy O Lord!
Give grace O Lord!
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
