Daily Devotions for Thursday 18th November, 2021

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : HABAKKUK chapter 3

Meditation : take time and consider these words of faith as we pause with God today.
What is God teaching/reminding you?

And then pray in response to what you have read
Making Habakkuk’s words your own this morning
as you rejoice in God’s faithfulness to you

Make the words of verses 17-19 your own words of prayer

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday

Pray God’s blessing on the work of 24-7 Prayer in our world
Father God…hear our prayers and bless this venture we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from HABAKKUK 3
Reflect on this part of the Bible at the end of your day
and Pray with rejoicing in response to our God – for His good gifts to you

Even though the fig trees have no fruit
and no grapes grow on the vines,
even though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no grain,
even though the sheep all die
and the cattle stalls are empty,
I will still be joyful and glad,
because the LORD God is my saviour.
The Sovereign LORD gives me strength.
He makes me sure-footed as a deer
and keeps me safe on the mountains

In Jesus’ name, Amen!
