Thy Kingdom Come at Midday

You are invited to pause at this time in your day and reflect on the daily video from Thy Kingdom Come on the theme of PRAY FOR

A Prayer from TKC
Transforming God, make me more like Jesus. And because I know my life is not like that, show me Jesus today.
And change my prayer from asking things for myself to asking you what you would like for me, so that my life can be part of your story. Help me to pray for others, that they may know Christ for themselves.
Amen.

An Invitation or Two after Sunday

After John’s message to us as a Church on Sunday morning, you are invited to the Upper Room….to take a walk….and to TKC 2021…..

As a Church we usually set aside a Tuesday each week and provide a place with space – the UPPER ROOM – a place for time-out in our busy days. This is a safe place, and COVID-19 guidelines are carefully followed.

* A space to be still in a busy world – in the room above the Kirkgate Cafe 7.30am-7.30pm
** Private prayer for yourself and for others – come and go as you wish
* Listening to God – Father Son and Holy Spirit
** Opportunities to pause and pray with others at 8am…12 midday…7pm

You are invited to take a walk…
We would invite you to take a walk around the Kirkyard and consider what God is saying to you at this time from the words displayed at various locations from John 14….starting at the Offering House.
You are invited to use the bench at the top left of the Kirkyard (under the large tree) to pause and pray – to be still with God – to ask, seek, knock, wait and receive.

You are invited to Thy Kingdom Come 2021…
A global opportunity to pray with other believers for the Kingdom of God to be experienced afresh in our day.
Over 80 Church denominations from 90% of the world’s countries are involved in these 11 days from 13th-23rd May. There is a daily theme to consider – including Thanks, Pray For, Help and Silence – and you can find these each morning on the Kirk website – our Daily Devotions at 7am, our Daily Reflections at 8am – and on www.ThyKingdomCome.global
This is an opportunity to pray for others to meet with Jesus, for our city, our nation and our world to experience and evidence the Kingdom of God in our day….and for the name of Jesus to be lifted higher than any other!
