Meditation : take time and consider this short passage this morning.

And then pray in response – as your day starts
Asking….seeking…..naming…..

Pray your own words of trust and request to the LORD our God.

Pray God’s blessing on the Café Management Board
Father God…hear our prayers and bless each and all we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from EZRA chapter 4 vs 1-6
Reflect on the words and people at the end of your day
and Pray in response to God – with your words of request and trust

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For all your good gifts to us
For our trust and hope is in you
As we ask, seek for those facing opposition to your work
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

O LORD, hear our prayers and bless this work real good we ask.

Reading : read the verses again from EZRA chapter 3 vs 7-13
Reflect on the words you read and then pray in response

LORD God, merciful God, our God, hear our evening prayers
As we thank you for all you have provided this day
Our daily bread and living water.
As we thank you for your Church worldwide
And her many places of worship
Telling others about Jesus, the Son of God

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
‘Thy Kingdom come’ Father God
LORD our God…thank you.

O God of saving grace and mercy,
Hear our evening prayers,
For our city and our nation
And the many places of worship to You
